Meet the Author

Keisha Thompson is a proud Troy University graduate. She has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and has been a first grade teacher for seven years. Working in schools and being inside the classroom have influenced her to become a children's book author. She is a wife and mother. Therefore, she feels the need to tackle important topics such as bullying and self-love in her book. Society can be cruel at times but it is vital to have teachable moments at home to build self-confidence. "Nevaeh's Rockin' Hair Journey" is her first book, but hopefully there will be many more to come.
